Handsome Brook Farms is the leading producer of organic pasture-raised eggs in the U.S., and a dozen of its eggs generally cost about $6. It does not use the Urner Barry index to price its eggs, and the cost to retailers and consumers is relatively stable. CEO Jordan Czeizler told Food Dive it's a good time to be in the specialty eggs business.
